Bunga Bunga

The expression “bunga bunga” is attested during the 19th century as a toponym of Australia. The term was then revived in 1910, as part of a famous joke, during which an African origin was deliberately implied, with the attribution of an uncertain meaning. The expression has become known in Italy and abroad, starting from 2010, to indicate parties with a presumed erotic background even if it is not clear to which act it was referring.
